Jake knocked sharply on the door of Dumbledore's office. Phineas Nigellus had been griping about Dumbledore's decision about allowing Alicia to stay. "In my day, I would've kicked that girl out then and there. No responsibility," he complained. "I mean, you should've jus-" he broke off when the four raps on the door inturrupted him.

"Come in," called the headmaster, straightening up in his chair. Jake stepped in calmly, his hands folded behind his back. "Professor, these three students were found dueling on school grounds," he said, casting a stern glare towards Alex, Natheniel, and Jennifer.

Jennifer sidled in behind Jake, looking at the ground, appearing thouroughly ashamed of herself.

Dumbledore's bright blue eyes flashed to the students. Jake inched out the door backwards, leaving Dumbledore to deal with the students. "Well?" he demanded as Alex ambled in, looking completely relaxed. "Well, nothin' professor," he said, grinning slightly. Joshua was slightly annoyed with Alexander. Whenever he got in trouble, he always used Joshua's kind nature to his advantage.

Alex didn't understand why Dumbledore was so annoyed. He smirked at that. "Natheniel hexed me, we fought," he said shrugging. "How did Jennifer here get hurt then, hm?" "She was just dumb enough to be in the way of my spell," he lied smoothly.

Nathaniel strode in with Jennifer, grinning at the Headmaster - but, when was he not grinning? He stood by her side, his hands shoved deep into his pockets.

"Nah, Professor, Alex is a little out of it, he doesn't know exactly what happened." the Griffindor grinned. "Someone hexed Alex, he decided it musta been me because I was laughing I disagree off at him. I used Alerte Ascendare to get him out of my face. He decided to dangle me by my ankle. I used the tickling charm to try to get him to drop me - it didn't work. He tried to use Sectumsempra while he was laughing his ass off. He hit Jen with it - so I thought he needed a taste of his own medicine." Nath continued, still grinning. He smirked at Alex slightly before turning back to the Headmaster.

"I don't care who started it or what happened. You each have a weeks worth of detention. Your first one will be with Professor McNiel. I'm sure she has something for ou to do," he said, his eyes narrowed.

Jennifer nodded shakily and just wanted to leave. "You are dismissed," he said, anger and disappointment still seething in his voice. Jen left the room like a bullet from a gun. Alex lazily walked after her.

"Greeeeeat, Magical Creature crap duty." laughed Nathaniel, not at all put out by the idea of a detention. He'd had plenty of detentions since first year - he always seemed to be the trouble maker of his classes. And the teachers made sure he knew it.

His head snapped around as Jen bolted from the room. He waved to the Headmaster - rather cheekily -, "Later, Professor." Then left after his friend. "Hey, Speedy Gonzalez! Wait up!"
