The strong boy leaned against the rough stone walls of Hogwarts while he waited for class to start. He lounged lazily as he made his feather float and hover. His bag was slung over his shoulder while his pale blue eyes watched his quill, half-closed with boredom.
Jennifer came walking down, laughing with her friends as they came to their Defense Against the Dark Arts class. She saw Alexander and smirked as she slowly drew out her wand. She held it by her waist discreetly. "Diffindo," she murmured, her smile broadening slightly.
Alexander's bag tore right down the middle. His ink bottle fell to the floor with a crash, the black liquid coating the bottom of his jeans. His papers drifted lazily to the ground where they landed in the ink and got soaked in it. He whirled around to face Jennifer with a snarl on his face. He pointed his wand at her face. "Sectum-" he managed before his blue eyes locked on the teacher rounding the corner. He pocketted his wand, glowering at Jennifer. Professor Jade had her nose buried in her books. "Ok, file in," she said, not looking up from all her papers.
Jennifer grinned over to her fellow Gryffindors as she glided into the room, barely supressing laughter. Her auburn eyes sparkled as she took her seat, laying down her books softly on the table. When she looked up to see Professor Jade, she saw Alexander cast a glare at her with obvious anger. She giggled a bell-like sound and turned to the Gryffindor next to her as she pointed him out. He ducked away and settled for glowering at his book.

Jillian had noticed Jennifer. How trivial. Messing with Alex was extremely dumb. She rolled her eyes and turned back to her book.

Jennifer surpressed laughter by pursing her lips. Her day had started out great. She was tormenting the Slytherins, they had practice today with the D.A., and she had gotten an A on her History of Magic quiz. A few quick taps against a desk brought her attention up to Professor Jade.
"Ok, listen up!" she trilled in a high soprano voice. "Today, we will be trying the Patronus Charm. You will seperate into pairs and try to do the charm with a friend," she explained. "Not yet, not yet," she added hurridly as a few kids got ready to go. "First, I need to tell you how to execute the spell," she laughed. "The patronus takes the shape of a certain animal. Each person has a different animal. Mine, for example, takes the form of a lioness."
She held up her wand and cleared her throat. "Expecto Patronum," she said clearly and firmly, flicking her wand by the tiniest amount when she said it. The lioness leaped gracefully out from the tip of her wand. It glided over the class to many "oohs," and "aahs,".

Jillian rolled her eyes again. The patronus charm was old news to her. She could produce a red cat with a flick of her wand.

"I know some of you may be at this level already, mainly the seventh years, but be patient for now," she said sternly, noticing Jillian's attitude. "Now. What you do is think of your happiest memory. Allow it to fill you up, then say, strongly and firmly, Expecto Patronum," she instructed. "Ok, seperate into pairs and begin." She then glided over to her desk and sat back with her pencil and quil in hand as she waited to record their progress.

"Alex, would you like to practice with me?" Jillian asked her fellow Slytherin. She pulled out her wand and waited for his reply.

"Sure," he said, shrugging. He too, pulled out his wand and got up. He wondered if Laticia would be jealous or something, the thought entertained him.
Jennifer turned around to look for her brother, or maybe Nath. Maybe even Alice. She wondered if anyone would practice with her. She pulled out her wand and murmured the incatation while she looked. "Expecto Patronum," she muttered. Blue wisp expelled from her wand-tip. It was very pretty, but not what she was looking for. What she really wanted was to see what her patronus was. She hoped it was something majestic and beautiful.

"Expecto Patronum." Jillian said. A cat burst from the tip of her wand and curled around her ankles. "Your turn." She smiled. Well, as close to a smile as she ever came. Halfway between a grimace and a wince.
Alice noticed Jennifer standing alone. She walked over to her. "I'll practice with you." she offered, taking out her wand.

He cleared his throat before waving his wand in front of him. "Expecto Patronum," he said clearly. A pale blue eagle flickered in his vision and faded. He shrugged and gave up. "Keep trying, Alex," scolded Professor Jade from where she sat, eyeing him with dissapproval. He sighed and tried again, producing a brighter eagle that flew around for a while, flickering every now and then.
Jennifer tried again, and watched in amazement as a beautiful swan soared from her wand-tip and illuminated her shocked features. She watched it as it faded slightly. She tightened her grip and adjusted her focus before it brightened up. "This is so cool!" she squealed to the nearest person. Apparantly, she was a natural at this.

Jillian smiled again. "Need a little practice, eh?" she asked. "Expecto Patronum." The cat burst from her wand again and raced around the room.
"Good job." Alice said. "Expecto Patronum!" A silver otter burst from her wand tip and danced around the room. "Cool."

OOC: Lets see if this can get ze creative juices flowing .... Though, I doubt it XD
IC: Nathaniel flopped into his chair, lounging back as Professor Jade started the lesson. He glanced towards Jennifer as she whispered something to a nearby Griffindor, following her gaze to Alex's glowering figure. He grinned widely as he saw the torn bag, Good on ya', Jen! he though, pleased.
He rocked back on his chair as the Professor told them about the new spell, his grin growing wider. This wouldn't be as boring as he first thought. He watched as the other students got into groups to practice, noting how well each Griffindor done. We can work on it in the Room of Requirement. Well, now the DA had a 'lesson plan' of sorts. He got to his feet, laughing aloud as he watched the burly Slytherin struggle at the spell. He strode over to Jeniffer and Alice, grinning at them as he twirled his wand. "Mind if I join you two beautiful ladies?" he asked. Without waiting for an answer, he flicked his wand and said clearly, "Expecto Patronum!" A silvery wolf lept from the wand tip, turning to the Griffindors as it's light flickered before going stronger.
Laticia glared daggers at Jillian's back before walking over to some other Slytherin girls. "Expecto Patronum!" she said, watching the Lemur leap from her wand, flickering.

"Jen, did you do that to Alex's bag?" Alice whispered so the Professor wouldn't hear. She looked up as Nathaniel came over to them. "Hi, Nathaniel. Expecto Patronum." The otter burst from her wand tip again.

"Yeah," she laughed - a bell-like sound. "I thought he should get a taste of his own medicine," she giggled with a grin. She watched the swan soar around the room.
Alex was now bored with the events around him. He leaned against the wall in his favorite position and tried to get the ink off his paper. "Tergio," he muttered. Some of the ink faded, but his paper was still a soaking, blue-black mess.
