Alex hunched his broad shoulders while he stalked away from Care of Magical Creatures. What a stupid lesson. Unicorns! He scoffed in his mind at the fairy-like, girlish creatures. Their swishing tails annoyed him and their shimmering pelts practically blinded Alexander.
Jennifer glided on behind Nathaniel, laughing for some joke she couldn't remember now. She noticed Alex in front of them and smirked. Langlock, she thought and then Alex's growl of annoyance turned into a wierd noise in the back of his throat. She held her hand over her mouth to stop from laughing. Alex turned around, glaring at her fiercely. Her laughter had ruined her concentration and the spell had undone.
Alex whirled around and stormed over to them. He held out his wand angrily, under the impression that Nathaniel had executed the spell. "Duel. Right here. Right now!" he demanded, his wand pointed to the sixth year's face.

Nathaniel strode beside Jenifer, his hands pushed deep into his pockets. He found it funny how the girls all cooed over the unicorn today. Who would of guessed girls really did like unicorns that much?
Of course, Nathaniel burst into laughter at Jennifer's hex. He was never worried about being caught laughing; the Slytherins didn't scare him, so why should he not bother to show his delight at their expense?
He grinned at Alex, ignoring the wand pointed at his face. "What? No sense of humor?" As he spoke, he swiftly pulled his wand out of his pocket, jabbing the bigger Slytherin in the stomach with it. "Out of my 'personal bubble', you're stinking up the place." he chuckled, still in good humor.

"You afraid of a little duel, Potter?" he sneered, a leer lighting up his expression. "I guess it makes sense. All Gryffindors are wimps," he said before shrugging as if it were obvious.
Jennifer glared at him through narrowed eyes, and stepped forward. She looked absurdly small next to the huge Slytherin. Yet she looked up so she could stare Alex in the eye. "Gryffindor is way better than Slytherin! At least we don't capture Muggle-borns!" she hissed up at him. Of course, both groups knew what each other was doing.
Alex looked her in the eye as well. "At least we don't keep members of your 'Army' prisoner," he hissed back.

"Scared? Of you? Ha! A new born unicorn is scarier than you, Malfoy." scoffed the younger Griffindor. His blue eyes flicked towards Jennifer, the angle turning them light gray.
"And, besides, I thought Slytherins were chosen because their either wimps or are too stupid for any other House." he added, chuckling. Very little could put Nath out of his good mood, especially when he was having so much fun picking on the thick-headed Slytherins.
"Alerte Ascendare." He said clearly, his wand still pointed at the Slytherin's stomach, using a spell that should send him flying up.

"Protego!" shouted the Slytherin. The spell sent him backwards a little, but not as much as it should've done thanks to his late shield charm.
Levicorpus, he though firmly, his wand pointed directly at Potter's face. If his spell worked, he'd use Sectumsempra on Potter once he was in the air.

"Whoa." Nathaniel gasped lightly as he was suddenly hanging by his ankle. His sky blue eyes narrowed, trying to ignore the feeling of blood rushing to his head. Rictusempra he thought, grinning at Alex with his wand pointing at the Slytherin's chest. The tickling charm was one of his favorites, being someone who liked to see people laughing, and not to mention it should distract the Slytherin enough to get his ankle free of the curse.

Alexander doubled over laughing at the Rictusempra spell.
"Sectum-Sect.....Sectumsem-" he stuttered, trying to get the spell out. He sucked in a deep breath and shouted, "SECTUMSEMPRA!" He wasn't paying much attention to where the spell went.
Jennifer gave a small scream as the spell hit her and she fell back into the grass. Blood spurted from Jennifer's right half where the spell hit. She whimpered as the crimson liquid seeped into the grass.

Nathaniel scowled slightly, the spell hadn't distracted the Slytherin enough to get him free. Think, Nath, think!
As the Slytherin stuttered and struggled with his spell, the Grinfindor's eyes widened. Alex's wand wasn't pointing at him, it was pointing to Jennifer! He opened his mouth to warn her, but too late.
His free hand tightened into a first at his friend's scream. That is it! his thoughts snarled. He tightened his grip on his wand, pointing it at Alex's face. "Let's see how you like some of your own magic." he growled. "Sectumsempra!"

Alex snarled as the spell hit him full in the face. The crimson liquid squirted from Alex's face as he fell onto his knees, his spell on Nathaniel ceasing it's effect.
Jennifer's eyelids fluttered as she slipped away.....about to enter that blissful world that was unconciousness.

Nathaniel hit the ground with a hard thud and a snapping sound, landing awkwardly on his shoulder blades. He clenched his teeth together, trying to ignore that pain from his - now broken - shoulder. Thankfully, it wasn't his wand arm that was injured. He rolled and got carefully to his feet, glaring daggers at Alex as his injured arm hung limp. He raised his wand once more, grinning slightly as he cats the spell, "Tarantallegra."
Letting his wand arm drop without caring if the spell had worked or not, he went to Jennifer, kneeling beside her. "Jen? Can ya' hear me, Jen?"
Laticia had smirked as Nathaniel was hung fron his ankle. Her smug expression was now replaced with a horrified one as she raced to Alex's side.

Alex growled, and since he was kneeling, the spell went over his blonde hair and missed him.
"Stop....fighting...." moaned Jennifer. They'd both been hit by spells that would seriously hurt them - there was no need t o continue.
Alex's breathing became quicker. He realized the Weasley girl was right - they needed to get to Jake - soon.

Using his good arm, Nathaniel carefully sat Jennifer up - ignoring the stab of pain that raced across his back at the movements. His bright green eyes scanned the surrounding students, trying to find someone fast to get John. "Henry, go get John, would ya'?" he asked a Griffndor student, who raced off to get the man.
Laticia hurriedly rubbed Alex's back, trying to get him to calm down. If he started worrying now his heart-rate would most likely quicken and he'd just loose more blood.
OOC Henry is just a random character to get John 8P

OOC-He's Jake, btw. xD
Jake flew onto the scene, sprinting in front of Henry. He scowled angrily - duels! All they did was cause injuries. He ran over to the closest one, Jennifer, and began waving his wand over her right half like those muggles would at the airports with their metal detectors. He was muttering several incantations under his breath. After Jennifer's eyes opened and focused vaguely on him, he left her with Natheniel.
He then darted over to the burly Slytherin. He repeated the process, muttering the spells. His injuries healed over and looked like they'd been healed for three weeks in muggle time. They left small scars.
Alex was now dizzy. He looked up, watching the stars that swirled around his head. The midnight blue sky was mixing with the stars and he saw a blue and white mixture of colors.

Nathaniel grinned at Jennifer, trying to make light of the serious situation. "Better?" he asked her. The Griffindor made no move to inform Jake of his broken shoulder, ignoring the sharp stabs of pain that came with each breath, each movement that disturbed the broken bone.
Laticia pressed her hand gently to Alex's cheek, her skin chilled from the afternoon air. Her light gray eyes focused worriedly on his unfocused eyes. "Alex? Are you feeling OK?" she asked in her soft, sweet voice.

"Yeah. 'M fine," he mumbled.
"Is anyone else hurt?" asked Jake, his blue and green eyes both smoldering angrily as he surveyed the scene. "I can't believe you students! Dueling!" he exlaimed, not waiting for a chance for someone else to answer. "You know it's not allowed!" he scolded.
His jaw was taut as he watched them fiercely. Normally he was friendly, the students' friend. Now he felt more like a teacher than a friend then ever.
"A little," she sighed, sitting up groggily. She glared across the scene over to Alexander. She drew her wand, ready to curse the Slytherin then and there. She could Cruciate him if she had the energy. Perhaps she'd settle for a simple Confundus Spell and make him punch himself or something. A Bat-bogey hex might work too. She held her wand aimed at his face - which was looking to Lacitia - as she tried to decide which curse to use on him.
